We have never been ones to procrastinate here at Toby, proven by last year's overhaul of our web site, which provided a huge leap forward in services for our online customers. The fresh look and user-friendly experience have tripled Toby’s online users with more new customers using the site every day. With many existing customers now choosing to combine the ease of an online account alongside their more traditional direct contact with Toby. Toby’s web guru Paul “Rondingo” Donnelly has been hard at work behind the scenes, finding ways to enhance our customers online experience. February sees many of these updates go live and registered online account customers can expect the following enhancements.

My Account Portal Now Features:

  • Cleaner Order Overview page with more detailed information
  • DHL Shipment Tracking Link
  • Re-print web order confirmations and invoices
  • Save Basket feature

Toby’s new Save Basket feature is probably one of the best “tweaks” in the My Account portal. Customers can save any repeat items in the “Save Basket” section, name the saved basket and come back to them at any time to re-order with just a few clicks. Not having to refill the basket over multiple visits is a great time saving tool for buyers, engineers and designers purchasing regularly from Toby.

Alongside these great service updates there are some nice cosmetic features to look out for, the most obvious of these is the re-siting of the Sign In banner to the top of the page. Advice on lead times when ordering more than in stock is another nifty user-friendly feature, while a less fussy, wider page view has been employed across the web site. We’ve also added a back to the top button to help you easily navigate our site, look out for this icon arrow at the bottom right of your screen.
