Q: What is the minimum order quantity?
A:
Unlike many component distributors,Toby does not set a minimum order value. A few of our product lines are subject to minimum order quantities- when a standard manufacturer pack quantity applies for example

Q: How can I open a credit account?
A:
Subject to normal terms and conditions, credit accounts are available to companies and organisations of any size. Please contact Toby for more details.

Q: Can I arrange a fixed price agreement?
A:
We are happy to establish fixed price agreements, based on your annual requirements. Please contact Toby for more details.

Q: Are you price competitive?
A:
Toby has nearly 20 years experience in sourcing high quality, cost competitive interconnection and commodity components from around the globe. As an independent, family-owned business we maintain low overheads and are committed to providing outstanding value. Compared to broadline and pan-European distributors, we can typically offer savings on a wide range of products, without any compromise in service or quality standards.

Q: Can I pay in Euros or US dollars?
A:
In addition to Sterling, Toby accepts payment in Euros and US Dollars for all telephone orders. Online orders placed through the WorldPay payment system can only be accepted in Sterling.

Q: Can I charge online orders to my Toby account?
A:
Yes. If you are an existing Toby account holder please send an email to sales@toby.co.uk asking us to activate your online account facility. When buying online, you will be offered the opportunity to place orders on your Toby account at the select payment option stage.

Q. How quickly will my order be despatched?
A: We endeavour to provide same day despatch on all orders for items held in stock. A choice of standard, next day and timed deliveries is available. Occasionally we may be unable to achieve same day despatch due to high order volumes. In particular, we typically experience a significant increase in business levels at the start of each month. If your order is urgent, a part is out of stock, or you have any other questions regarding delivery schedules, please contact our experienced team of account managers on +44 (0)1295 271777.

Q: What are the postage and packing charges for orders placed via www.toby.co.uk?
A:
Delivery to mainland UK addresses is free for all online orders worth £40 or more. For smaller orders the postage and packing is still only £3.95 for standard Royal Mail delivery. A choice of next-day and timed delivery via major parcel couriers is also available.

Q: Do you supply outside the UK?
A:
Subject to normal terms and conditions, we can supply companies and organisations anywhere in the world.

Q: Do you offer rep visits?
A:
Our team of field sales representatives covers most of the mainland UK and can provide face-to-face assistance with a wide range of commercial, logistical and technical issues. Simply contact our head office on 01295 271777 to arrange an appointment.

Q: I need modifications to a standard connector. Can you help?
A:
We have considerable experience in the supply of custom connectors, providing a comprehensive service that extends from initial specifications right through to delivery of the finished product. whether you need a completely new part, or just a change to an existing component, we offer fast turnaround and competitive pricing. Q: Can you cross-reference parts?

Toby has specialised in interconnection technology for nearly 20 years. Our experienced sales staff are happy to identify alternative sources of supply for your existing connectors and frequently achieve significant cost savings for customers.

Q: Can you provide product samples?
A:
To ensure correct product specification, we are pleased to be able to offer free samples of most of our interconnection and commodity products.

Q: Can you hold buffer stock for me?
A:
Toby offers a full range of value added logistics services. As well as holding buffer stock for customers in our purpose-built distribution centre, we can also accommodate supply requirements such as kanban and bar-coding.

Q: Where can I get technical data?
A:
Technical data on all our standard product range is available in pdf form in the online ordering section of this website. Simply locate the relevant product series and click on the ‘view datasheet’ link, which is in the orange header above the pricing information.

Q: What quality standards do you maintain?
A:
We are approved by NQA to BS EN ISO 9001:2008 - Certificate No. 7333. Valid until the 17th January 2015. You can download a copy here if required.
