Monday the 8th of June 2020 COVID-19 Coronavirus Update

With the news dominated by Coronavirus, we wanted to let you know what our business is doing.  We are closely monitoring the guidance of the World Health Organization and UK governmental communications regarding the spread of the virus and our focus is to ensure we meet our customers needs whilst doing our part to keep our employees safe.

Toby is monitoring and following developments very closely. As the situation continues to evolve in the coming weeks and months, please know that we are still 100% available to support you and solve any challenges you might experience with your component requirements 

Here’s what we’re doing:

  • Our warehouse team is fully operational and working standard working hours 
  • We are cleaning our facilities frequently with recommended sanitizing products and encouraging all warehouse employees to be vigilant about frequent hand washing.
  • All our sales and other office staff are working from home in order to reduce the likelihood of spreading the virus.
  • We are 100% able to receive your calls and all the sales team are fully available by email during standard working hours
  • We are instructing warehouse employees who feel ill to stay home, consult their healthcare providers and to self-isolate.
  • We are diligently following the recent lock-down rules and all on-site staff are social distancing to the max and home workers are obliged to follow current lock-down rules to the letter
  • We have assurances from our couriers - such as DHL, UPS and the Royal Mail that courier and delivery services will be maintained
  • We have a healthy balance sheet and can call on financial help & support from our bank should it be needed if the movement of goods has to stop as instructed by the government (Unlikely).
  • As a key supplier to the medical electronics industry we have no intention to close for business
  • Our web-site is available 24 hours every day and goods ordered this way as shipping as normal

Our supply chain is currently very robust and whilst there are some extended lead times on some products and some of our suppliers are on temporary shut-down 95% of our suppliers both for raw materials and finished goods are operating normally - if this changes we will post regular updates online or via email to our customer base -
